Welcome to Vista La Mesa Academy, Home of the Cheetahs!  I am honored to serve you and look forward to a successful school year.  It is our vision that each and every student will achieve high levels of academic proficiency while learning to be responsible and productive citizens.  We provide a rigorous academic program that is aligned to the California State Standards.  Assessments are used to monitor student progress and the effectiveness of our instructional program. 

At Vista La Mesa Academy our students are taught the principles of being a PeaceBuilder. We believe that it is important to provide children with the tools to be effective problem solvers and to be successful in a variety of social settings.

Most importantly, the team at Vista La Mesa Academy realizes that it takes a solid home-to-school connection in order to create and maintain a culture where all students thrive academically and socially. With many opportunities for family involvement, participation and ongoing communication, Vista La Mesa Academy has created such connection.
